Check out my sisters blog. Here and a friend are riding horses From ND to the west coast to try and raise money for Heifer International. Its just the two of them, three horses and a dog.

They started in PA and drove to a small town in ND and this morning is the first day they will be riding. Once a day or so I get a spot check GPS signal sent to me via email and I am plotting the locations on a map that at some point will be visible.

Ringling Sites

I noticed the other day a lot of our webspace websites are not gone or partly gone. It looks like they just trashed image folders and movies but left the html files which is kind of stupid as they still get indexed by google.

Now when someone searches for your name they get a broken looking mess of a site.

I would remove them so they are no longer indexed and just get a hosting site at some place like www.godaddy.com if you still want a site.

Anyway, just a heads up. :-)

I was looking around online the other day and found some cool links on Wikipedia that will make job searching so much more fun.

I am a fan of a lot of the stuff that "The Mill" makes and as they have an opening I thought I would post this commercial that they did. It is very creepy and not the best animation I have seen but it would not stop me from wanting to work for them someday. Might be a good place to work if you ever wanted to travel to as they have locations outside of the states.

New MEL script going up this weekend

Okay, I have been working on a new MEL script for about 3 weeks now
and it is all but finished. It should be up Sat, but definitely Sun
afternoon.

The script is another toggle script, but this one is really cool. It
lets you choose which cameras or panels that you want to use, then it
toggles the active view only through those panels you selected. For
example, let's say you are laying out UVs. You open the script
window, select persp and UV editor, and click set button. Then go to
a one-panel view to maximize your screen, and hit the toggle hotkey.
Whamo, your viewport toggles between the persp view and the UV editor,
want to add another camera. Open the script window, pick the ones you
want, hit set button, and continue.

It is very easy to use, especially if you working on a laptop or
small monitor because it allows you to stay in the one-panel view and
toggle thru your desired panels quickly.

It will be packaged with a shelf and 5 other quick toggle scripts
(wireframe, image planes, xray, view selected, and Thru cameras). A
simple drag of the shelf buttons to the hotkey editor makes assigning
hotkeys a breeze.

So check my MEL scripts page this weekend or first thing on Monday.
Test it out and let me know what you think!

Hey guys,

I wrote a couple of quick MEL scripts and thought I would upload them in case anybody wants them. Here is what they do:

GAS_camsTGL: Toggles active viewport through all cameras in the scene.

GAS_xrayTGL: Toggles active viewport xray on and off.

GAS_planesTGL: Toggles active viewport image planes on and off.

To use, just download the folder and assign the script contents to a hotkey.

Hi, I finished my first two weeks of training at Sony. They gave me a shot to work on now but it is still training so I get some extra time to figure stuff out. At the end of next week training ends thogh.

The first couple weeks was really hard to get a hold of all the programs but now it is going much nicer and when I know what I am doing it is a lot of fun.

Here are a few pose tests of a new model I am finishing up. I wanted a simple model that I could use for some in game animation I am doing. The design is based off of the 1950s Andrew Loomis mannequin. I am trying to learn mudbox and get some nice models posted, but it is taking a bit longer than expected. Hope everyone is doing well.
